SUMMER!

Well, summer is on it's way. For me it brings a "finally" for some it brings a "not again!" Whatever the case, sunshine is on it's way and school is drawing to a close! Kyle has enjoyed his first year at Moody Bible Institute, as have I (though not a student). Kyle and I look forward to the possibility of spending our summer in Colorado near my (Mandee) family!

In order for Kyle to graduate with his B.A. from MBI, he must complete an internship in his intended future ministry. Thankfully God has already opened 2 doors to 2 different summer internships, both of which are in CO. NOW comes the decision making! We have created a proposal for both internships and will be presenting those to the school in the following week. MBI will then review both proposals and either give us the go-ahead or the axe!

We are very excited about both possibilities. Both would be amazing places for spiritual growth, discipleship for both Kyle and I, and time well spent in preparation for ministry. One of the internships is not in Kyle's future ministry plans, but it would provide food, housing, and monetary compensation. The other ministry cannot provide any of the previous, BUT it is exactly they type of ministry Kyle may very well head into. And more than likely Kyle and I would be able to find part-time jobs to pay our bills. Any way, we are still praying about both and will just have to wait and see where the Lord leads us! When you think of us pray along with us about our summer!
